Charting Pathways to Realize SDG 16 with Indigenous Peoples

Around the globe, conflict, insecurity, weak institutions and limited access to justice remain great threats to sustainable development, especially for indigenous peoples. During this virtual event we launched the rebuilt version of the Indigenous Navigator, a data portal with a unique set of tools, which help indigenous peoples document, monitor and address their situation. The event also offers a platform for indigenous peoples to share their challenges, perspectives, and aspirations regarding the path to achieving SDG 16. Indigenous leaders shared initiatives undertaken to advance peace, justice and strong institutions (SDG 16).
